retired was the will to win. With Elway the game was never over until the

Orton certainly didn't have it, Griese had no drive or motivation or
leadership abilities. Plummer played hard and had some talent and drive but
couldn't motivate the rest of the team, they knew eventually he was going to
make a bone head decision.
Cutler was the closest QB to Elway that had it all, he was talented, could
throw the ball, mobile, great throwing mechanics and could score at any time
from anywhere on the field. But he lacked the will to win and he never seemed
upset or angry when we lost or were losing. I had confidence in Cutler and was
